Jon, an associate principal with Hennebery Eddy Architects, Jon is a leader for the firm’s commercial, academic, and civic projects. Jon takes great pride in helping clients achieve their vision. A founding member of the DBIA Portland Chapter in 2013, he became fully DBIA certified in 2014 and previously served as the chapter’s programs committee chair.

Rebecca is an architect supervisor at the Bonneville Power Administration providing leadership of the Facilities Engineering group by managing engineering resources and overseeing the design and construction of BPA’s non-electric building facilities.  She graduated from the University of Oregon and is a licensed architect.

Jim Maher is a Project Manager and Commercial-Market Sector Lead for Fortis Construction.  Since moving from Chicago in 2013, Jim as led numerous design-build projects that cover a wide range of construction types and complexities, from fast-paced interior renovations to campus-scale infrastructure improvements.

Graham has been the Treasurer of the Oregon Chapter of DBIA since 2012.  Graham joined Geffen Mesher in August 2003 after earning his accounting degree from Linfield College. He is a CPA and shareholder of Geffen Mesher where he chairs the firm’s real estate and construction practice groups.

Steve is a structural engineer and the operations manager for Coffman Engineers’ growing Portland office. As a graduate from Washington State University, Steve began his career with Coffman in Spokane, and has stayed ever since. Over a decade ago, Steve moved his life to Oregon, to support Coffman’s growth, and currently leads the new Portland office in the Pearl District. Steve and the Portland team are working to build relationships with local clients and partners and deliver great work. As an avid windsurfer and fisherman, Steve enjoys the Oregon lifestyle, and weaves regional values of innovation and sustainability into his work.

 

Steve is an experienced structural engineer and works with reinforced concrete and masonry, structural steel, and timber on projects ranging in size from small repairs and studies up to large design build projects. Steve’s experience spans across many sectors including industrial, healthcare, federal and military, multi-family housing, mixed-use development, hospitality, pharmaceutical, energy, wine/beer production and distribution, and retail. Steve has taught senior-level civil engineering courses, steel design, at Gonzaga University for multiple semesters and he is currently an adjunct professor at Portland State University teaching masonry design.

John is a Design Manager with Skanska USA Building Inc. John brings over 30 years of experience as an architect and project manager working on projects all over the world. Prior to joining Skanska in 2016, John spent eleven years delivering US Embassy projects through its design-build delivery program. John has recently been focusing on healthcare projects delivered through both design-build and collaborative project delivery methods. John is a registered architect in the State of Oregon since 1993 and gained DBIA certification in 2018.

Kyle Kraxberger, SE, is an associate at DCI Engineers in Portland. He comes from a contracting family, so Kyle developed his early basic construction and engineering skills by building houses. Since joining DCI Engineers in 2012, he has contributed to existing building projects, new construction, demolition work, and construction fixes around Portland and beyond. Kyle enjoys the collaborative nature in the structural engineering profession. He acquired his Master of Engineering from Portland State University.

As an associate at Hennebery Eddy Architects, Nick incorporates strong design skills and technical expertise in building envelops into academic and commercial projects. His work has resulted in high-performance and award-winning buildings in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Hennebery Eddy, Nick worked at the City of Portland’s Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, in the Urban Design Studio, on the future development of Portland’s Northeast Quadrant plan. Nick is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon.

 As a project engineer with McKinstry’s Special Project Group, Josh manages a wide variety of tenant improvement and major mechanical equipment upgrades in the Portland area. Much of his work with McKinstry has been design-build, and by driving coordination between McKinstry’s in-house engineers and tradespeople he consistently delivers high-performing projects while maintaining budget and aggressive project schedules. Prior to joining McKinstry, Josh worked in Iowa for an energy consultancy group, performing energy modeling and project management for a variety of new and retrofit commercial and residential high performing buildings across the Midwest. Josh earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell College in 2013 and earned his Master of Science in Sustainable Engineering from Villanova University in 2019.
