I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelors in Anthropology and Theater. I worked as a theater tech and lighting designer for over 6 years, as well a grip in the film industry and eventually found my way to Architectural Lighting as a rep with Glenn International. After obtaining my Lighting Certification in 2010 I started the local Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Section with a group of other local firms. In my 6 years at Glenn, I worked on multiple Public/Private Design Build partnerships, doing lighting design, calculations, and project management.
In 2013 I moved to Portland to work for Solus in Specification Sales. In the past nine years I’ve worked with architects, engineers, lighting designers and electrical contractors in specifying and designing multiple local jobs. I’ve been involved with Oregon DBIA since 2017 where I currently serve as Programs Co-Chair. I’m also active in several DEI initiatives and teach Lighting Design for Interior Designers.
